Hey, golfers!

We have a new feature we’re super excited to announce: we’ve added the ability to export your golf scores.

You worked hard to enter your scores in golfity but your scores are yours and only yours and you should be free to take them wherever you want and analyze them however you like. That’s why we built this feature for you — so that you can do whatever makes sense for your game without feeling limited by what we offer here on golfity.

The exported files use the CSV format, which is a simple text file that you can view and manipulate in Excel or Google Sheets.

There are three different files you can download:

  • Rounds : the exported file will have one row for each round you have played, with the total score, the number of putts and fairways and greens hit.
  • Holes : one row for each hole you have entered, with the number of shots and putts, fairway and green hit. Every row has a column called round_id to identify what round this hole belongs to.
  • Shots : this file has one row for each shot you have entered, with starting and ending distance and lie and of course the strokes gained for the shot.

If you want to try this feature, just head to the golfity app and use the menu on the top right to find the “Export” option.
