There are three different ways to track a new round of golf in Golfity

To start a new round in golfity, tap on the "Play" button on the main screen and then select the course you are playing in.

There are three ways to enter a new round in golfity:

  • Total score: this is the quick and dirty way to enter your score. If you didn't have time to track your scores and you just want to enter your total score and maybe the number of putts and fairways hit, this is your choice. You won't get many insights to improve, but your score will be tracked for you and your friends.
  • Hole by hole: this is what we usually write on our scorecards, the number of shots (and maybe putts, greens in regulation, etc) for each hole.
  • Shot by shot: enter the distance to the hole and lie for each shot. It's a bit more work, but that's the data we need to calculate the strokes gained and give you the best insights to improve your golf.

Of course, you don't need to commit to any option forever, you can use a different method for each round you enter.
